We’re looking for an accomplished Senior Manager, Content Marketing to join our growing team. You’ll apply your content creation expertise to tech companies across various sectors, such as Adtech, Martech, Edtech, Fintech, Retailtech, and eCommerce.

The talent in this dynamic role creates effective content that effectively positions clients where they need to be in the marketplace. Tactically, you’re comfortable shifting focus, format, and style from project to project or client to client. Ideally, you’re happy writing both long- and short-form content. The successful candidate is an exceptional wordsmith and an organized, detail-oriented marketing professional. Since this is a newly created role, we’re excited to see the range of ideas and skills you bring to the position.

The Senior Manager, Content Marketing reports to the Director of Content Marketing and works closely with other employees and contractors.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end production of content assets for all stages of the marketing funnel — including blog posts, landing pages, emails, pre- and post-event copy, website copy, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, ad copy, SEO titles & meta descriptions, and more.
  • Ensuring content assets adhere to all best practices and are optimized for SEO.
  • Experience managing marketing tools such as WordPress.
  • Contribute to larger integrated campaign frameworks.
  • Collaborate with client marketing teams and executives to create differentiated and impactful content.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Content team to create multi-format experiences that span the entire marketing funnel.
  • Collaborate with our Growth Marketing team to ensure content is distributed to the right audiences across the right channels.
  • Collaborate with our Product Marketing team to ensure product and sales enablement content sets clients up for success.
  • Treat SalientMG as a client, including support for our blog and other marketing initiatives.
  • Adhere to existing style guides and/or help develop and maintain consistent content standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience — you have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience writing marketing copy (it’s ok if past job titles don’t specify this, as long as you’ve done the work in a professional capacity).
  • Industry Experience — you have multiple years of experience in the tech / SAAS space, and you’re passionate about the transformative impact of technology on businesses and people.
  • Cross-Functional Experience — you have a proven track record of working with specialists across product marketing, digital marketing, design, and communications.
  • Collaboration — you thrive in an environment where everyone works remotely; you can successfully lead and collaborate with other senior professionals and external contractors.
  • Initiative — you’re not afraid to bring new ideas to the table. Plus, you understand a start-up mindset and can operate with speed and agility while still prioritizing quality results.
